Spent the weekend of August 16-18 at the USDAA Central Regional in Missouri. Had a blast with my boys, Senna & Braedan. Thanks to Carol Lemche & Pirate (my draw pairs teammate for Senna) for helping us get to the podium in 3rd Place for the Performance Team Tournament. Senna also took 3rd Place in the Performance Challenge Biathlon (a shocker considering I didn’t realize I’d entered him in the classes until a few days before the event).
Thanks also to my teammates Brenda Kelly and Catherine Laria and their awesome dogs Luna and Bliz. Despite my bobbles in Saturday’s team courses, we still managed to pull out a 4th Place in the Team Tournament. Braedan also earned semi-finals byes in both the Steeplechase and Grand Prix finals. Proud of my boys.
Special thanks, too, to Kathy Mazzola for getting many of my runs on video and for hanging out with me. Made the weekend that much more fun.
